How to Hide Your Own Video Feed in Google Meet

Sometimes, when we’re attending an event in Google Meet, we just want to focus our attention on the people we’re meeting with, or the content that’s being presented.

It’s easy to get our own video feed or tile out of the way so we can do exactly that.

To hide your own video tile in Google Meet:

While in a Google Meet call:

  • Hover over your own video feed and click Remove this tile or Minimize.

  • Click and hold to drag the You bubble in the bottom right to the desired location.

  • Hover over the You bubble to expand or show in a tile again.
